KAABOO is a “mix-perience” with tons of great music, art, comedy, and FOOD!

To celebrate one of my best friend’s birthday we took a short trip down to San Diego to explore Salona Beach and attend KAABOO. We danced, ate, and drank for three days making so many fun memories. Keep reading to hear about my overall review of the festival!

Here is a short video of our experience:

(P.S. This is also my first attempt at a vlog so let me know what you think in the comments!)

That’s all folks!

I was so focused on getting footage for this video that I totally forgot to take pictures! Oops!

KAABOO Review:

This is my second year going to KAABOO. After going last year the experience left me dying to go back and this year was even better. The laid-back, artisan vibe of KAABOO is what sold me on labeling it my favorite festival.

They upped the food and drink game this year with more local food vendors with a variety of food. We ate everything from tacos, lobster mac, curry, and poke! TALK ABOUT VARIETY. Plus, they had tons healthy options to fit any diet! They also had a better variety of beer and wine then years past. My biggest complaint last year was there wasn’t enough local beer and food, I mean they were serving blue moon in the brewery capital of California…

They killed it with the line-up of this year, I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars! There were plenty of artists I was dying to see like Milky Chance, Red Hot Chili Peppers, X Ambassadors, Weezer, and more!

KAABOO also managed to amp up the “luxury” of their festival by providing multiple lounging areas through the festival. Perfect to escape the afternoon heat or just relax.

Overall I love the size and vibe of KAABOO. They keep it true to San Diego and provide everything that creates a good festival: music, art, food, drinks, and comedy plus you can’t beat the beach and that September weather!

You can bet I will be saving my money to be able to attend VIP next year!

Disclaimer – I only attended KAABOO Friday and Sunday, we skipped Saturday to enjoy San Diego and explore Solana Beach, hence all the cute beach footage in the video. All thoughts and opinions are my own, this is not done if affiliation with KAABOO
