The past two weeks have been quite the whorl wind of new experiences. I just touched back down in LAX after a week in one of my favorite cities,
New York. Where I experienced my first ever New York Fashion Week (NYFW). It was an incredible week filled with highs and lows.
NYFW has always been a dream of mine. Ever since I started my blog I set the goal to one day attend NYFW. This year I decided to bite the bullet and buy the dang plane ticket! It was quite the experience going to shows, dressing up, visiting showrooms, and just exploring the city.
To be quite honest, I used this trip to dip my toes into the world of fashion. I wanted to learn the ropes and see what exactly NYFW was all about. The whole week was filled with pinch-me moments! But, without a doubt it was filled with a lot of challenges too. It was my first solo work-focused trip! All of my days were scheduled to a T, which was both incredibly exciting and equally draining. The week as whole took a lot out of me mentally and physically, but I am excited to be home in my warm bed listening to the LA rain. I am all the more excited and ready to take on my next NYFW in September.

How exciting to get to NYFW! And I love that you more or less used the same basics (some of the NYFW visits must have had to send trunks loaded with their clothes for all of the outfits they wore during the week) for your outfits…..and they all looked great! I love those boots!
